Serial cat killer on the loose
A serial cat killer is stalking and gruesomely slaughtering felines in Cape Town and today, the killer struck again.
Two more cats were found dumped in the same Manenberg street. The cat killer has now pounced 18 times in just 12 days.
Many locals believe that the killings are gang-related and meant to send a message.
Animal Welfare’s Allan Perrins says he hasn’t had much sleep, as he tries to track down the pet killer.
Residents have taken to patrolling the streets in an attempt to catch the culprit.
Animal lovers in the area say they live in fear that their pets could be next.
One of the residents Faiza Jacobs has now lost three cats to the killing spree.
