Storm pummels Western Cape

Military resources have been deployed, to assist with evacuations and flood relief in the Western Cape's Overberg region.

At least 57 families were evacuated in Struisbaai overnight, while several others remain on standby as the weather intensifies.

Severe downpours forced the closure of, several access roads to communities like Cape Agulhas and Stormsvlei.
