Stricter lockdown for Gauteng?

Gauteng remains under critical pressure as a COVID-19 third wave engulfs the province and private health facilities have not been spared.

The Life Healthcare‘s Group chief executive Peter Wharton-Hood says on Monday they had more than 1400 COVID-19 admissions of which more than 850 were in Gauteng itself.

He says latest wave of infections is a direct result of social behaviour and non-compliance.
