Struggle for health services in the E Cape
They waited years for a clinic and when no help came residents in Mthombe village in the Eastern Cape, decided to offer their own money to help the provincial health department build them a clinic. They were told to use the money to build a temporary structure that could serve as a mobile clinic. But that structure's now turned into a white elephant. As Mbasa Khwaza reports the villagers are no closer to adequate healthcare.
