Super League shambles
It has been a turbulent 48-hours in the world of football.
The face of the beautiful game was set to be flipped on its head following the announcement of a 12-club European Super League.
Pundits, players, fans and coaches unanimously rejected the proposal with the clubs being branded as football’s ‘Dirty Dozen’.
Fans even gathered outside stadiums to voice its displeasure. Within no time various English clubs announced their withdrawal.
Fans welcomed the news, but felt let down by the greed of their club owners. Soccer Laduma’s David Kappel,
who joined us on Wednesday says this will surely go down as the shortest football league that ever existed.
But there could be legal repercussions and further punishment according to Kappel.
