Supplies reach stranded Northern Cape residents
Much-needed relief supplies are finally reaching residents, who are left stranded by floodwaters, in Kuruman and surrounding areas in the Northern Cape.
A state of disaster was declared following the floods that are said to be the worst to hit the region in 47 years.
Gift of the Givers founder, Imtiaz Sooliman, says a helicopter was deployed on Friday to help deliver aid to villages
that have been inaccessible by road since the flooding began three weeks ago.
