Thousands of lockdown violators arrested

At least 20 000 people have either been fined or arrested since the start of the adjusted level 3 lockdown.

Police Minister Bheki Cele says more than 7 400 South Africans have been arrested for not wearing masks in public, while 844 people have been arrested for the sale and transportation of liquor.
