Tobacco producers to fight cigarette ban

The Fair-Trade Independent Tobacco Association, plans to head to court on Monday to fight the ban on tobacco products.

Last week President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the ban

on cigarette sales would be lifted when the country moves to lockdown level 4.

But this week government made a sudden U-turn when it announced

that the ban on tobacco products would remain in place.
