‘Toorbos’ selected as SA Oscars contender

Local film, Toorbos has been selected, to represent South Africa, in the Best International Feature Film category, at next year’s Oscars.

Set in the 1930s, Toorbos is Rene van Rooyen’s adaptation, of Dalene Matthee’s best-selling novel, Toorbos, which was published in 2003.
