Vaccine rollout phase two set for May

The chairperson of the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Vaccines says he is hoping that the 1.2 million healthcare workers in South Africa,

will be vaccinated by the end of next month. We got a brief update on the rollout plan from Professor Barry Schoub on Wednesday.

Schoub further noted that it would be wise for government to ‘temporarily’ implement stricter lockdown measures heading into the Easter period.
