Varsity rugby returns in April

South Africa’s biggest varsity rugby tournament is back, and is expected to deliver some exciting changes this year.

The 2021 edition of the Varsity Cup will be contested between 4 April and 24 May in three secured bio-bubbles.

The University of Pretoria will host this year’s edition, which will also include the Varsity Shield tournament.

Tournament director, Xhanti-Lomzi Nesi, says they are looking forward to the action after the long layoff due to COVID-19.
