W Cape to bulldoze apartheid spatial planning

The Western Cape government has drafted guidelines for its municipalities to address the issue of apartheid spatial planning and the growing demand for low-cost housing. Once council-approved a new social housing framework will mandate the development of cheaper homes in some the most expensive areas in the Cape.
