W Cape lobbies for lockdown level two

The Western Cape government is petitioning the president to drop the province to lockdown level two as the Cape passes its third wave peak. 

In a few weeks the province plays host to several major sporting events including the Cape Town Cycle Tour and provincial authorities say its local economy can't afford not to get back to work.
