Western Cape braces for COVID-19 peak
The Western Cape is expecting its COVID-19 second wave peak around January 7th,
Ans this could possibly head into a second week, end on the 14th of January.
The province has recorded over 41 000 active COVID-19 infections, and a total death toll of 7336 so far.
Dr. Keith Cloete, the head of the provincial Health Department spoke to us earlier about the situation at the province’s hospitals.
