Will closing our beaches help curb COVID-19?
There’s been an outcry from tourism bodies about reports that authorities in KwaZulu-Natal,
could close its beaches over the festive season to try and curb the spread of the coronavirus.
But will this help the country and province stem the rise in cases?
And should the rest of the country consider closing its beaches too?
To answer these questions, we spoke to Sisa Ntshona, CEO of SA Tourism.
