Will reopening schools increase the spread of COVID-19?

One of the busiest hospitals in South Africa, is Soweto’s Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
If the reopening of schools leads to more coronavirus infections, this hospital will buckle under the pressure.
To discuss this, we spoke to Professor Haroon Saloojee, from Wits University’s Paediatrics and Health Department, about the scientific data behind the decision to open schools.
