Woman jailed for dumping her baby in a drain

The woman (33) who dumped her baby in a storm water drain, in Durban last year, has started her prison sentence. 

She was sentenced to three years behind bars, after pleading guilty to attempted murder charges.

The baby remains in the care of a children’s home.
