Zuma to enter formal plea next week
It’s nearly 18 years in the making.
But just when we thought Jacob Zuma’s corruption trial would finally get under way it was quickly postponed to next week Wednesday for the former president to formally enter his plea.
Zuma faces some 16 counts of fraud corruption, racketeering, and money-laundering in connection with the country’s controversial multi-billion rand arms deal.
We spoke to our reporter Nabeelah Shaikh in Pietermaritzburg for the latest.
