'Zuma’s punishment a good thing'

The Constitutional Court was compelled to take a hard line against Jacob Zuma because of the immense damage the former president has done to the judiciary.

That’s the view of Constitutional Lawyer, Cathleen Powell, following Zuma being found guilty of contempt of court. 

The apex court ordered that Zuma serve 15 months in jail for his refusal to testify at the State Capture Commission.

Powell says Zuma’s attacks on the judiciary will not go unpunished.
