Good news for Independent Power Producers

Energy Minister, Gwede Mantashe, 
has begun the process of adding new power to the grid, 
which will address South Africa’s ongoing power issues. 
The gazetted approval means that Eskom will be forced to 
buy the new electricity from Independent Power Producers. 
It is expected to be fed into the grid in 2020.
