Tannie Evita turns 85

South African icon, Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout, turns 85 on Monday.

Tannie Evita has always managed to straddle the political aisle enjoying close relationships with the good, the bad and the ugly in Parliament. 

We spoke to Pieter Dirk Uys, who knows her best and coincidentally shares a birthday with Tannie Evita.
