Top cop in court on corruption charges

A deputy national police commissioner who was arrested for alleged fraud, corruption, theft and money laundering made her first court appearance on Monday.

The charges are in relation to a multimillion-rand police tender in 2017, for which former Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane was also arrested.
