Free State and Northern Cape fires contained

Free State MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, William Bulwane, visited parts of the Free State and Northern Cape on Wednesday.

Several properties, including agricultural land were destroyed by wild fires.

Bulwane assured farmers who lost almost everything that they will be assisted by government.

Although the fires have been contained, the ongoing heatwave and strong winds, could potentially lead to flare ups.
