Zandile Gumede won't be back

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal says former eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede will not be returning to her position.

The party says it's yet to finalise a report after she appeared before the ANC's Integrity Commission.

Gumede, who faces fraud charges, was asked to step aside pending the court's outcome.

The party's provincial deputy chairperson, Mike Mabuyakhulu, will however be reinstated, despite also facing fraud charges.
