Gugulethu shooting sparks fears

The community of Gugulethu is under siege and residents live in fear.

That’s according to Vincent Domingo, chairperson at the Gugulethu Development Forum,

which represents civil society groups, business and street communities in Gugulethu.

He’s calling on residents to unite to help bring crime under control in the area.

The call comes after four suspects allegedly opened fire on a house in Gugulethu, killing eight people.

We spoke to Domingo on the way forward.
