Tshwane drowning in debt

Tshwane’s newly appointed mayor Randall Williams announced his new mayoral committee today.

He says improving the city’s financial situation is one of his main goals.

The metro is reportedly in financial trouble with a deficit of R4.4 billion.

It was placed under administration for nearly a year, after the council failed to convene meetings.

We caught up with Williams to hear how he is planning to change things around.
