IEC: All systems go for Wednesday

The Electoral Commission of South Africa says it's ready for the big round of by-elections on Wednesday.

A total of 95 wards will be contested in 55 municipalities, of which 20 are in the Northern Cape.

This will also be the first time South Africans will cast their ballots during a global pandemic and will be a litmus test for the IEC, ahead of next year's municipal elections.
