Murder, sexual offences rate still too high

Murder, sexual offences and cash-in-transit heists continue to be some of the worst crimes in our country.  

Police Minister Bheki Cele fleshed out the numbers on Friday on crimes that took place between July and September.  

To discuss this further, we were joined by Anine Kriegler, a researcher at UCT’s Centre of Criminology.
