Semenya continues fight for justice and equality

Caster Semenya will be taking her fight against World Athletics to the European Court of Human Rights.

At the centre of Semenya’s fight is World Athletics’ gender eligibility rules, which require women

with excessive amounts of naturally occurring testosterone, to take suppressants or undergo surgery.

Her battleground now shifts from Switzerland to France where the European Human Rights court will hear the athlete's case.
