All Garden Route events cancelled

All events planned in the Garden Route region have been cancelled amid a resurgence in COVID-19 cases.

The Western Cape Disaster Management Centre has issued advisories that all venues and municipal social facilities must be closed.

New guidelines are also being drawn up for campers and holidaymakers expected to flock to the popular coastal towns along the N2 in the next few weeks.
