Joburg has new Anti-Land Invasion Unit

The City of Johannesburg launched its new Anti-Land Invasion Unit in Orange Farm on Wednesday.

Ten metro police officers will be assigned to each of the City's 135 wards.

More than 1 000 new officers are also expected to join the ranks ahead of this year's festive season.
