PE's shortage of health workers

As COVID-19 numbers surge once again in the Eastern Cape, humanitarian aid groups, Gift of the Givers and Doctors Without Borders, have urged government to address critical staff shortages at the province’s hospitals.

This comes as the provincial healthcare system is taking severe strain.
