Bushiri may be linked to another crime

It seems as if Pastor Shepherd Bushiri’s crime woes are far from over.

This comes after a top police officer, Rosy Resandt, and her husband, Clifford, appeared in court on Thursday on charges of corruption and defeating the ends of justice.

Resandt works as Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s head of security, while his wife, holds a senior position in the SAPS' organised crime unit.

The state claims that the couple received R500 000 rand from Bushiri in 2018.

According to the NPA that money was used to bribe the parents of a young girl, who Clifford had allegedly raped.

The Resandt's have been released on bail of R15 000 each.
