Verulam child rapist found guilty

A Verulam man accused of keeping his 11-year-old step-daughter as a sex slave was found guilty, on various charges including rape, child abuse and human trafficking.

Judgment was handed down in the Durban High Court on Friday.

In order to protect the identity of the girl, the convicted child rapist cannot be identified.
