The gift that keeps on giving

One week. That’s how long it took aid organisation, Gift of the Givers, to convert a unused hospital wing at the Settlers Hospital in Makhanda,

into a dedicated COVID-19 high care facility with oxygen. The site will be used to ease the pressure on the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro,

as COVID infections continue to rise. Gift of the Givers has been in the province helping with basic essentials, including medical equipment.

Its founder, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, joined us to tell us more.
