Are healthcare workers prepared for second wave?

It's no secret that our country's public healthcare system has always been under immense pressure.

But, with an increase in the number of infections, and a new COVID-19 variant,

the healthcare system has taken much more strain.

In Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape, 

hospitals are full and healthcare workers are exhausted.

Spokesperson for nursing union Denosa, Sibongiseni Delihlazo, chatted to us about the state of our healthcare system.
