Tropical storm Chalane hits Mozambique

A tropical storm has brought strong winds and heavy rains to central Mozambique, and is now barrelling towards parts of Zimbabwe.

Initially labelled a tropical cyclone, Chalane, however weakened somewhat after making landfall in Madagascar on Monday.
