ANC: "COVID-19 our first priority"
For the first time in its history, the ANC's January 8th statement, was done virtually. The reason is of course, the global pandemic.
The party's president, Cyril Ramaphosa says overcoming this Covid-19 pandemic, is the ANC’s number one priority this year.
Ramaphosa says South Africa is in the middle, of a second wave of the virus, which could prove deadlier than the first.
With loadshedding already firmly back on the cards for 2021, Ramaphosa also made big promises, about keeping the lights on.
Eskom is collapsing under massive debt, and ailing infrastructure.
But the ANC has once again, pledged to find alternative sources of electricity.
