'Government should prioritise teachers'

The National Professional Teachers' Organisation of South Africa, wants teachers to be higher up on the COVID-19 vaccine priority list.

The union has written to the Ministers of Health and Basic Education, stating that high school teachers are especially vulnerable,

because the new variant of COVID-19 is more prevalent among teenagers and young adults.
