Sadtu: Half of Limpopo’s schools not ready to open
The Limpopo Education Department says schools in the province are ready to start the academic year.
But the South African Democratic Teachers’ Union doesn't think so.
It says more than 800 teachers in the province are currently infected with COVID19,
and over 150 have already died of the virus. While plans are afoot to fill teaching posts soon,
the union says there are more issues the department must address.
