J&J vaccine rollout underway

Eighty thousand doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine arrived at Gauteng’s OR Tambo International Airport, from Belgium on Tuesday evening.

Healthcare workers will be the first to receive the jab and President Cyril Ramaphosa and Health Minister Zweli Mkhize joined the first group to be inoculated against COVID-19.

Natalie Malgas is at the District Hospital in Khayelitsha in Cape Town, where the first group of healthcare workers are being vaccinated against the coronavirus.
