Traditional leaders rights not recognised

Traditional leaders are not being included in local and provincial government structures.

A recent report by the public protector found that very little is being done to ensure chiefs and kings in seven of our nine provinces,

are involved in matters concerning their areas of rule.

The public protector also found that this has had a direct impact on service delivery.
