Tshwane metro court battles

Tshwane mayor Stevens Mokgalapa,and council speaker, Katlego Mathebe, will keep their jobs for now. The North Gauteng High Court has extended an interim order, which prevents the two from being axed, from their positions. The ANC and EFF had voted, that the two be removed, during a council sitting, earlier this month. The matter has been postponed to Thursday, to give ANC’s legal representatives time to respond.
