Back to blackouts

It's time to once again haul out the candles, and fill the paraffin lamps.

Stage 2 power cuts were rolled out from this evening and will continue until Friday. 

But just how does this latest round of loadshedding compare to previous blackouts?

Independent Energy Analyst, Chris Yelland says, there have been instances in the past,

where higher amounts of capacity have been unavailable.

He adds that South Africans can expect loadshedding to likely continue for the next few years.
