African football has a new leader

It is official!

Patrice Motsepe is the new Confederation of African Football president.

Motsepe was the sole candidate at Fridays elections in Morocco. He is the first South African to lead African football’s governing body.

African football writer Lorenz Köhler is of the opinion that Motsepe is exactly what CAF needs right now considering that its close to bankruptcy.
