Should the legal drinking age be 21?

An attorney that specialises in Liquor Law, Danie Cronje has expressed concerns with suggestions that

our country should consider increasing the legal drinking age to 21. This week the Medical Research Council’s

Doctor Glenda Gray made the proposal while briefing MPs. Cronje says alcohol abuse is a ‘social problem’

and doubts whether changing the legislation will have the desired results.
