Western Cape gets more cops

Almost 200 additional officers have recently been deployed to a number of policing precincts around Cape Town.

The deployments follow a spate of attacks on police officers as well as street gang wars.

Police Minister Bheki Cele is in Cape Town today, following a recent surge in violent crimes.
