Data Must Fall!

That’s been the rallying cry of just about any South African with a cellphone, for the last few years.

With astronomical data prices and poor infrastructure, forcing South Africans to dig deeper into their pockets, the Competition Commission finally

stepped in at the end of 2019. Both Vodacom and MTN have now been ordered to lower their prices.

To take us through where we are now with the cost of data, we were joined in studio now by our producer, Nic Andersen.
