Heads to roll over matric camp conditions
At least three KZN Education Department officials are set to face disciplinary action, over the poor conditions at a matric camp at the Boniwe
Rehabilitation Centre last year. Pupils from the Harry Gwala District were crammed into a dilapidated tent, with no masks.
They were forced to use toilets overflowing with human waste.
Education MEC, Kwazi Mshengu, released the findings of an investigation today.
Our reporter Nabeelah Shaikh, was at that briefing.
