Struggling artists continue protest

The Sheriff has served final notices to artists staging a sit-in at the offices of the National Arts Council in Johannesburg.

The group has vowed to continue its demonstration despite an eviction order to clear the premises.

Local performers have been protesting for several weeks now over the alleged mismanagement of COVID-19 relief funding.
